About the series
From 2008 onward, Croatian publisher Veseli četvrtak (later Grafart) has been reprinting the iconic Italian horror-mystery series Dylan Dog—and its parallel spin-off Dilan Dog—for a new generation of readers. With 148 issues and counting, the series is most consistently illustrated by longtime Dylan Dog artist Angelo Stano, whose moody, expressionistic style defines the eerie London of the Nightmare Investigator. This reprint series matters because it made the globally beloved, surreal horror of Tiziano Sclavi’s creation accessible to the Croatian market, preserving the original’s cult status while introducing its philosophical dread and dark humor to a fresh audience.
