In 1988, the Polish publisher Krajowa Agencja Wydawnicza released a single-issue comic adaptation of Oscar Wilde's classic ghost story, Duch z Canterville. Scripted by Ilona Ruttkai and Tibor Cs. Horváth, with art by the celebrated animator Marcell Jankovics, this graphic novel brings a distinctly Central European visual flair to the tale of an American family confronting a stubborn British specter.
