Druuna X

Druuna X, launched in 1999 by Heavy Metal Brasil, is a sci-fi erotic horror series centered on the amnesiac heroine Druuna, trapped in a decaying, dystopian world ravaged by a mysterious plague. Best known for the work of Italian artist Paolo Eleuteri Serpieri, the series explores themes of survival and transformation through its striking, hyper-detailed painted artwork. Though the series has no formal issue count, its influence endures as a landmark of adult-oriented European comics imported to the Brazilian market.
