Dreamwalker: Carousel

In the year 1999, Avatar Press launched Dreamwalker: Carousel, a two-issue miniseries from the husband-and-wife team of Barry Gregory and Jenni Gregory. With Jenni Gregory both writing and illustrating, the series is a dark, atmospheric exploration of a mysterious carnival and the psychic "Dreamwalker" who becomes entangled with its sinister secrets. Though brief, it stands as a distinctive, creator-driven horror comic from the early days of Avatar's push into mature, creator-owned storytelling.
