Dragonero, launched in 2008 by Hjemmet/Egmont, is an Italian fantasy-adventure series written primarily by Luca Enoch, Nina Svendsrud, and Stefano Vietti, with Giuseppe Matteoni as its most frequent artist. The series follows a lone warrior in a richly imagined medieval world, blending epic quests with a gritty, character-driven tone. Its debut issue established the foundations of a long-running saga that would become a staple of European fantasy comics.
