Douwe Dabbert returns in Nieuwe avonturen, a 2025 revival from Uitgeverij L that continues the beloved Dutch fantasy series. Following its first issue, this new chapter expands on the whimsical travels of the titular dwarf, originally created by Thom Roep and Piet Wijn. While still in its early days, the series reintroduces the gentle humor and richly detailed artwork that made the original a classic of Dutch comics.
