Chris Wisnia's Doris Danger Giant Monster Adventures is a loving, lo-fi tribute to the giant monster genre, published by Slave Labor Graphics from 2009 onward. With Wisnia as its primary artist, the series blends retro monster-movie mayhem with a DIY, indie-comics sensibility. Though its initial run comprised only a single issue, the series has continued in fits and starts, earning a cult following for its hand-drawn charm and genuine affection for kaiju cinema.
