Don Winslow of the Navy

A long-running adventure strip from Export Publishing, Don Winslow of the Navy ran for eight issues starting in 1948, adapting the popular newspaper comic and radio serial into comic book form. The series is most closely associated with artist Carl Pfeufer, whose dynamic, clean-line illustrations brought the naval hero's globe-trotting exploits to life for a new generation of readers.
