Doktor Solar

In the late 1960s, I.K. (Illustrerede Klassikere) published Doktor Solar, a 12-issue Danish comic series that brought a unique, homegrown superhero to local newsstands. The series followed the atomic-powered adventures of its titular scientist-hero, blending science fiction and action in a style distinct from the American imports that dominated the era. Though short-lived, Doktor Solar remains a notable piece of Danish comics history, showcasing the country's early foray into original superhero storytelling.
