Dodelijk wapen

In 2011, the Dutch publishers Oog & Blik and De Bezige Bij issued a single comic-book issue of Dodelijk wapen, a translation of a work by the acclaimed American cartoonist Daniel Clowes. The project was completed with the assistance of translator Pieter van Oudheusden, bringing Clowes’s distinctively sharp, introspective storytelling to a Dutch-speaking audience. This brief but notable release stands as a testament to the international reach of Clowes’s influential graphic narrative style.
