Doctor Who Classics

From 2008 to 2013, IDW collected and re-presented classic Doctor Who comic strips originally published in the 1970s and 1980s by Marvel UK. This nine-issue series brought together the foundational creative team of writers Dez Skinn, John Wagner, and Pat Mills, alongside artists Dave Gibbons, John Ridgway, and Mick Austin, whose work helped define the Fourth Doctor’s comic adventures. It matters as a key archival release, preserving the era when the Doctor’s print exploits were at their most inventive and influential.
