In the pages of Docteur Justice, French readers followed the adventures of a mysterious doctor whose travels brought him to the aid of the oppressed, blending social conscience with action across a fifteen-year span. Published by Éditions Messidor and La Farandole, this eight-issue series was most frequently written by Jean Ollivier and illustrated by Carlo Marcello, whose collaboration gave the title a distinctive, grounded visual style.
