DNA Swamp

Tom Kline’s short-lived, creator-owned series DNA Swamp (1997–present, DNA Swamp Design) is a feverish blend of sci-fi and horror, with only three issues that left a lasting impression through the moody, detailed artwork of Frank Quitely and Paul J. Holden. Published outside the mainstream, it’s a cult artifact of late-’90s independent comics, known for its atmospheric storytelling and striking visual design.
