About the series
In the early 1990s, the British tabloid Daily Mirror launched Disney Mirror, a daily newspaper comic strip that ran for 160 issues. Best known for the work of legendary Disney cartoonist Floyd Gottfredson, the series brought classic animated characters to a newspaper audience with a consistent, charmingly drawn presence. It stands as a notable, if brief, extension of the Disney comic tradition into the British press.
