Disney Lingua Latina

Romano Scarpa, the legendary Italian Disney master, wrote and drew both issues of this short-lived 1984–1986 series from the European Language Institute. Each comic presented classic Disney characters acting out simple stories entirely in Latin, designed as a playful language-learning tool. While only two issues were published, the series stands as a charmingly oddball artifact of Scarpa’s vast career, blending his signature storytelling with educational ambition.
