Die Toten

From 2010 to 2021, Zwerchfell published Die Toten, a six-issue German comic series that weaves a dark, philosophical horror narrative. Most frequently written by Andreas Völlinger, Adrian vom Baur, and Dietmar Dath, and illustrated by Christopher Tauber, Elke Reinhart, and Frank Freund, the series explores themes of death and the undead with a uniquely European sensibility.
