Die Steinzeitkinder

In the early 1970s, German publisher Verlag Gerhard Stalling released just two issues of Die Steinzeitkinder, a lighthearted comic series following a group of prehistoric children. Swedish artist and writer Bertil Almqvist, known for his charming, cartoonish style, was the primary creative force behind the series. Though brief, the series is a curious artifact of European children's comics, offering a playful, family-friendly glimpse into Stone Age life from a distinctively Scandinavian-German perspective.
