In the mid-1990s, Splitter Verlag brought a German-language adaptation of Pierre Dubois and Stéphane Duval's whimsical fantasy to life. While Dubois and Duval are the core creative pair, translators Joachim Kaps and Rossi Schreiber also contributed to the writing, ensuring the tale's earthy magic crossed into German.
