Die Grube

Set in a shadowy Berlin nightclub, Die Grube is a German crime comic from avant-verlag that launched in 2024. Created primarily by writer/artist Erik Kriek alongside writer Katrin Herzberg, the series follows a mysterious woman navigating the city's underworld. With only a single issue released so far, it marks Kriek's return to European comics after his acclaimed work on American horror titles, bringing a moody, atmospheric sensibility to the genre.
