About the series
From 1980 to 1985, the German publisher Egmont Ehapa released Die großen Science-Fiction-Comics, a 15-issue anthology series that collected some of the most striking European and American sci-fi stories of the era. The series is most associated with the work of writer/artist Hermann, along with writers Víctor Mora and Doug Moench, and artists José María Cardona and Julio Bosch. It offered readers a curated tour of imaginative, often gritty futures, serving as a vital entry point for German audiences to the best international science-fiction comics of the period.
