Die Bautzen

A short-lived but striking West German series from Otto Maier Verlag, Die Bautzen ran for only three issues between 1972 and 1974. The series is most closely associated with artist Dennis Collins, whose distinctive visuals defined its brief run. Though it never achieved a long tenure, the series remains a curious footnote for collectors of 1970s European comics.
