Die Abenteuer von Freddy Lombard

From 1985 to 1991, Carlsen Comics published four German-language issues of Die Abenteuer von Freddy Lombard, collecting the adventures of the charming, globe-trotting hero created by the French artist Yves Chaland. Chaland, who both wrote and drew the series alongside collaborators Helmut Mennicken and Yann, infused these stories with a lively, retro ligne claire style that paid homage to classic Franco-Belgian comics.
