A German historical adventure series from CCH - Comic Club Hannover, Die Abenteuer des Vasco da Gama ran for 14 issues between 1995 and 1996, written and drawn entirely by Walter Mohr. The series dramatizes the voyages of the famed Portuguese explorer, bringing his Age of Discovery expeditions to life in comic form. Mohr’s detailed artwork and narrative focus made this a distinctive, self-contained project within the European small-press scene of the 1990s.
