Devlin

From Maximum Press, Devlin launched in 1996 as a single-issue comic co-written by Robert Napton and Rob Liefeld, with artwork by Andy Park, Ching Lau, and John Stinsman. A short-lived but visually striking entry in the mid-90s boom of creator-owned superhero titles, it showcased the bombastic, hyper-detailed style Liefeld and his collaborators were known for at the time. Though it never expanded beyond its debut, the issue remains a snapshot of the era's maximalist comic aesthetic.
