In 2008–2009, Hjemmet / Egmont published a Danish-language comic adaptation of Stephen King's The Dark Tower, spanning just two issues. Illustrated primarily by Jae Lee, this series distilled the epic, mythic scope of King's magnum opus into a compact visual format for European readers. While brief, it stands as a notable early attempt to translate the sprawling saga into sequential art, capturing the series' signature blend of dark fantasy and western motifs.
