About the series
In the late 1990s, French publisher Toth revived Richard Corben's epic fantasy Den for a two-issue miniseries, Den, la quête (1999–2000). This limited run continues the saga of the awkward young man transformed into a muscular hero in the savage, psychedelic world of Neverwhere, rendered in Corben's signature lush, painted style. Though brief, it stands as a late-career return to the character that defined the creator's groundbreaking work for Heavy Metal magazine.
