Demonique

Sky Owens wrote and drew this four-issue series from London Night Studios, a short-lived 1990s imprint that specialized in dark, supernatural heroines. The story follows the titular Demonique, a character Owens also created, as she navigates a world of occult threats and personal demons. Though brief, the series stands as a focused example of the creator-owned, femme-fatale-led comics that defined the mid-90s indie boom.
