Demon Wars

Marvel’s Demon Wars (2024–present) reimagines classic Marvel characters through the lens of Japanese folklore and dark fantasy, written by Peach Momoko and Zack Davisson with art by Momoko. Launched as a single-issue series, it draws on Momoko’s distinctive, ethereal style to blend Western superhero mythology with Eastern storytelling traditions. The series matters as a bold, creator-driven experiment in cultural fusion, expanding Marvel’s narrative palette beyond typical superhero fare.
