Demon Days

Peach Momoko reimagines the Marvel Universe through the lens of Japanese folklore in this 2022 series from Marvel. Written by Momoko and Zack Davisson, with Momoko’s distinctive painted art, Demon Days transplants familiar characters into a mythic, feudal Japan setting. Though the series spans just one issue, it launched Momoko’s acclaimed, atmospheric vision of a world where X-Men and other heroes are reborn as yokai and spirits.
