Deity

From 1997 to 1998, Hyperwerks published Deity, a seven-issue series that blended cosmic-scale mythology with superhero action. Conceived primarily by writer-artist Karl Altstaetter, with co-writing from Robert Napton, the series explored the nature of godhood and power through its central character. Its striking, detailed artwork and ambitious storytelling made it a distinctive entry in the late-'90s independent comics landscape.
