Deadpool: The End

In this one-shot from Marvel's "The End" line, writer Joe Kelly and artist Mike Hawthorne imagine the final, far-future adventure of the Merc with a Mouth. Set against a dying universe, it's a surprisingly poignant and character-driven story that explores what happens when even an unkillable mutant's time finally runs out. A fitting, bittersweet capstone to the character's long, chaotic history.
