About the series
From 2003 to 2004, Josh Howard wrote and illustrated this four-issue horror series for Viper Comics, following a young woman who returns from the dead with unsettling abilities. Blending teen angst with supernatural dread, the story explores the eerie aftermath of her resurrection in a small town. Howard's distinct, manga-influenced art and moody storytelling helped establish Dead@17 as a cult favorite among indie horror fans of the era.
