De wonderbaarlijke Spinneman

In the mid-1970s, Classics/Williams brought a distinctly Dutch take on Spider-Man with De wonderbaarlijke Spinneman, a 12-issue series that ran from 1974 to 1977. Featuring scripts primarily by Gerry Conway and artwork by industry stalwarts John Romita, Gil Kane, and Ross Andru, the series re-presented classic web-slinger adventures for a new audience. While it didn't introduce original stories, its importance lies in being a key international edition, introducing Dutch readers to some of the most iconic Spider-Man tales of the era through the work of top-tier American talent.
