In 2023, Le Lombard launched De weg van het zwaard, a Dutch-language comic series that chronicles the path of a sword across different eras and hands. Written by a rotating team including Emmanuel Herzet, Vincent Brugeas, and The House of Boom!, with Benoît Dellac providing the consistent art, the series explores how a single weapon shapes—and is shaped by—the lives it touches. With two issues released so far, it offers a fresh, episodic take on historical fiction through the lens of a legendary blade.
