A Norwegian translation of Claire Bretécher’s acclaimed French series Les Frustrés, this two-issue run from Pax collects the sharp, observational humor that made Bretécher a defining voice in European comics. Co-translated by Liss Schanke, the strip dissects the petty anxieties and social pretensions of the urban middle class with a deceptively simple line and a scalpel-sharp wit. A key artifact of the 1980s alternative comics scene, it introduced Norwegian readers to one of the medium’s most celebrated satirists.
