Based on a popular Belgian TV series, De buurtpolitie (2017–2025) is a long-running comic from Standaard Uitgeverij that follows the daily beat of a neighborhood police force. Spanning 31 issues, the series was most frequently written by Nix, who also contributed art alongside Benus. It offers lighthearted, episodic adventures that capture the community-focused spirit of its source material.
