Daytripper

Daytripper is a ten-issue limited series from DC, created and executed entirely by the Brazilian twin brothers Fábio Moon and Gabriel Bá. The story follows the life of Bras de Oliva Domingos, an obituary writer for a São Paulo newspaper, through a series of pivotal moments—each issue ending with his death at a different age. Rather than a conventional superhero narrative, the series is a lyrical, philosophical meditation on life, death, and the meaning of the moments in between, rendered in Moon and Bá’s warm, expressive art. Its intimate, humanistic scope and its creators’ singular voice have made it a standout work of early 2010s comics, celebrated for its emotional depth and artistic ambition.
