About the series
From 1999 to 2002, Semic S.A. published the six-issue Danger Girl series, a high-octane spy-fi adventure blending retro glamour with modern action. Anchored by the dynamic artwork of J. Scott Campbell, who also co-wrote alongside Andy Hartnell and Nicole Duclos, the book follows an elite team of female operatives—Abbey Chase, Deuce, Silicon Valérie, Sydney Savage, and Natalia Kassle—as they tackle globe-trotting missions. This series helped define the late-90s "bad girl" comics trend with its cinematic, playful tone and Campbell's signature, exaggerated style.
