Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls

In 2019–2020, Dark Horse Comics adapted the action-horror spin-off Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls into a three-issue comic miniseries. Set between the first two mainline Danganronpa games, it follows Komaru Naegi and Toko Fukawa as they fight through a city overrun by Monokuma robots and brainwashed children. The series captures the franchise's signature blend of grim survival and dark humor, offering a more direct, combat-driven story than the series' typical killing-game mysteries.
