Cyberforce

In the early 1990s, Image Comics launched Cyberforce, a four-issue series co-created by writer Eric Silvestri and artist Marc Silvestri. Set in a gritty, post-apocalyptic world, the story follows a team of cybernetically enhanced heroes—including Boomer O'Shea, Chip McNally, Carin Taylor, Cassandra Lane, Ballistic, and Cyblade—as they battle against a corrupt corporation. This series helped define the "extreme" aesthetic of the era, showcasing Marc Silvestri's dynamic, detailed artwork and establishing a foundational title for the Top Cow imprint.
