Crimi-strip

A short-lived but visually striking Dutch comic series from 1969–1970, Crimi-strip ran for just 12 issues across two publishers, De Vrijbuiter and De Schorpioen. The series is notable for its fully painted artwork, an unusual and ambitious format for a crime comic of the era, giving each issue a distinctive, atmospheric look. While the creators behind the brush are not widely credited, the series stands as a curious, art-forward artifact of late-60s European genre comics.
