About the series
Published by EC from 1948 to 1950, Crime Patrol ran for ten issues and helped define the publisher’s early crime-comics identity before its shift into horror. The series was most often written by Al Feldstein and Johnny Craig, with Craig, Feldstein, and Henry Kiefer handling the majority of the artwork. Though short-lived, it stands as a formative EC title, showcasing the gritty, twist-driven storytelling and detailed visuals that would soon make the company notorious.
