From 2003 to 2004, Marvel published Crew, a seven-issue series written by Priest with art by Joe Bennett. The book centers on James "Rhodey" Rhodes—better known as War Machine—as he leads a covert team of operatives navigating street-level threats and political intrigue. A gritty, character-driven exploration of a lesser-seen corner of the Marvel Universe, it showcases Priest’s signature blend of sharp dialogue and morally complex storytelling.
