Cracked Summer Special

From 1991 to 1999, Globe Communications published nine issues of Cracked Summer Special, a seasonal spinoff of the long-running humor magazine. The series delivered a mix of parody, satire, and gag comics, with regular contributions from writers Catherine Severin, Frank Borth, and Roger Brown, alongside artists like Walter Brogan, John Severin, and Frank Borth. A lighter, sunnier counterpart to Cracked's monthly output, it captured the irreverent, newsstand-ready comedy of the era without breaking new ground.
