Cougar and Cub

From 2017 onward, Action Lab Comics published Cougar and Cub, a three-issue series that pairs a grizzled, retired superhero with a young, impulsive sidekick for a fresh take on the mentor-student dynamic. Artist Daniël Arruda Massa brought the action to life across the entire run, giving the book a consistent visual identity. Though brief, the series stands out for its focused, character-driven approach to the classic duo formula.
