Corsu

From 1999 to 2007, DCL éditions published Corsu, a five-issue comic series that blends Corsican history with supernatural adventure. The story follows a young man who discovers he is the reincarnation of a legendary Corsican hero, tasked with protecting the island from ancient evils. Created by writer Jean-Marc Lainé and artist Jean-Louis Pujol, the series stands out for its rich incorporation of Corsican folklore and its atmospheric, painted artwork. Though brief, Corsu remains a distinctive cult title for its regional specificity and ambitious mythological scope.
