About the series
From 1974 to 1976, Italy's Editoriale Corno published Corriere della Paura, a 22-issue horror anthology series that imported and translated American material, primarily from Marvel Comics. The series is most closely associated with the work of writers Marv Wolfman, Roy Thomas, and Steve Gerber, alongside artists Bob Brown, Gene Colan, and Val Mayerik, whose dark, atmospheric pages defined its eerie tone. A key bridge between American comics and Italian readers, it brought classic Marvel horror tales to a new audience during the genre's 1970s peak.
