About the series
From 1964 to 1965, Editorial Maga published Coraza de Castilla, a 43-issue Spanish comic series that blended historical adventure with swashbuckling heroics. The title character, a masked crusader inspired by the chivalric ideals of medieval Castile, fought injustice and tyranny in a vividly depicted, romanticized past. Though short-lived, the series became a cult favorite for its dynamic art and patriotic storytelling, standing as a notable example of Spain's vibrant 1960s comic book industry.
