Congo el niño salvaje

In 1954–1955, Mexican publisher Editora de Periódicos, S. C. L. "La Prensa" released a brief but visually striking four-issue series, Congo el niño salvaje. Best known for the lush, expressive artwork of American comics legend Matt Baker, the series follows a feral boy navigating a jungle world of adventure and danger. Though short-lived, it stands as a notable example of Baker’s distinctive style applied to a Latin American comic, showcasing his dynamic storytelling and graceful figure work beyond his more famous romance and crime titles.
