About the series
From 1974 to 1981, Spanish publisher Ediciones Vértice brought Robert E. Howard's iconic Cimmerian to a new audience with Conan el Bárbaro, a 43-issue series that translated and adapted the celebrated Marvel Comics run. Anchored by the foundational scripting of Roy Thomas and the dynamic artwork of Barry Smith and John Buscema, the series also featured distinctive covers by Spanish artist Rafael López Espí.
